"Portugal in Light and Darkness" opens Saturday in Setúbal

This Saturday, 19 September, I'm showing five of my photographs at the first exhibition of the Clube de Fotografia de Setúbal, at Escola Conde de Ferreira. The opening is at 17:00, the show runs until 15 October, and entry is free.

My collection on show is called “Portugal in Light and Darkness”. It includes a sunrise over the Vasco da Gama bridge, a full moon rising behind the lighthouse at Cabo Espichel, an abandoned cacilheiro “Recordação” beached at Mitrena (sadly removed just a few weeks ago), the old tide mill at Mourisca on the Sado, and the Perseids falling over the cliffs at Cabo Sardão. Landscapes and astrophotography side-by-side taken in the same region, but with very different exposure times.

This is my second group exhibition in Setúbal, after Crespaço in 2023.

I'll also have matted/unframed copies of the images on show, plus a few others, for sale at the opening. Come say hi.
